Halloween Centerpiece with Help from the Kids

Here’s a fun way to include your kids' artwork in a Halloween centerpiece. Check out our blog from last week where we made spooky ghosts and goblins. Get the kids started making little goblins while you collect leaves, gourds and some votive or pillar candles.

I made my centerpiece two ways. First, I combined ghosts, goblins and pumpkins I made last week with fall foliage for something simple.

Another option is to use a fun Jack-o-Lantern, witch or black cat for the focal point of the centerpiece. Then place the smaller ghosts and goblins around whatever you have chosen for the main attraction.

Next arrange votive candles between and around the little goblins and scatter fall foliage, gourds, acorns and other natural elements. You can even add some plastic spiders or bugs for a little extra terror! Be sure to let you kids help with the arrangement so they see how their art makes a “spooktacular” addition to your Halloween décor.
