Ooglys the kids are making

I’ve been sharing oogly with lots of students this spring and I just love seeing the creativity each child brings to the process. For some, it’s about the eyes, like I showed you last week.
Three-eyed oogly
For others, it’s about the teeth.
This oogly got wings and some fancy teeth

And for some, it’s all about adding something extra – like wings or a hat...

Looking dapper with his cap on
Kids see the variety in life and that helps me remember our individuality. It’s an uncommon gift in a world where variety can sometimes get lost in all the sameness of chain restaurants and big box stores. Remember what it was like to see the uncommon?
