Great Insight on Listening

Working with kids who are exploring art, clay and all things creative, I know how important it is to really listen when children talk about their art and their ideas. Sometimes, though, even our best intentions to pay attention get pushed aside in the noise and activity. That’s why I love this post from Amanda Morgan’s blog “Not Just Cute" called 10 Secrets for Adults to be Good Listeners.

My favorite tip is #6 “Create Everyday Spaces for Routine Conversation.”

Do you have any hints on how to be a better listener? Please share.
