Making Sunglasses at ArtMania

Kids in the ARTMania workshop at ARTichokes did a great job making sunglasses in their class on Monday. Here are some examples of their work.

We had lots of fun adding decoration to the frames.

We used lace, beads and buttons to add texture to the temples.

The sunglasses are made from stoneware so they will be fired and glazed before we add the lenses but you can see the black, glittery craft foam we will use to finish them off. It makes a fun “mirrored” sunglass look to keep cool.
