Making Clay Frogs at ArtMania

Making frogs with clay is an easy project that kids of all ages can do. These were made by children ages five to nine years old.
Frogs are an easy kids' clay project for any age.
I’m going to be sharing how to do some of my favorite clay projects in Monday’s blog but I thought I’d give you a sneak peek at the frogs that kids made today during the ArtMania workshop at Artichokes in Leawood, KS.
Variety abounds when kids create frogs with clay.
The frogs are made of white stoneware and they will be finished with a green acrylic wash after they are fired.
This frog's webbed feet make swimming a breeze.
The kids had fun adding tongues – great for catching flies.
Quite a tongue on this frog!
The frog prince was another popular theme inspired by summer reading, perhaps?
