National Arts in Education Week Wrap-up

What a fun week we’ve had celebrating National Arts in Education week. Our goal was to share thoughts about the importance of art in the classroom and give you some new projects and activities to help accomplish that. We hope you have enjoyed the information and ideas we’ve had in the blog. In case you missed any of the lesson plans you can access them at the links below.

Making Mughs with The Clay Teacher, Cindy Clarke. Thanks for contributing such a fun project Cindy!

If you try any of the activities with students or at home, let us know how they go. We’d love to see pictures or hear about worked for you or how you improved on our ideas.  Thanks to all the teachers, parents and students who work every day to make sure creativity and imagination get the attention and support they deserve through arts programming in education.
